I designed the cover of Negah Magazine by order of this political, social, and cultural bi-monthly belonging to Shiraz University. This issue deals specifically with women s problems and the social and legal conflicts of women in religious and traditional societies. In designing the cover of this magazine, the subject was first photographed in different places and situations, wearing a black chador as a conventional and religious cover of Muslim women. And then, in the later stages of the design, I used the eye as a symbol of discriminatory and sexist views of women and the color orange as a visual element designated for discrimination and violence against women.
