The relationship between architecture, space, and human presence has long shaped the way I see the built environment. In Bound by Architecture, I am interested in how structures, boundaries, and spatial arrangements define the experience of a place—sometimes openly, and sometimes through a quiet sense of restriction.

These photographs explore spaces framed by walls, columns, passages, openings, and lines that guide movement while also limiting it. Even when the human figure is absent, its presence is implied through scale, perspective, and the way the space seems prepared to contain or direct a body within it. Across the series, I seek to evoke a feeling of enclosure and constraint, where architecture does not simply surround space, but shapes an atmosphere of tension, distance, and containment. Through these images, I examine how built environments can both structure perception and subtly produce a sense of being bound within them.
